Delete your Chainsworn account
Chainsworn is made by “Hypeform” Ltd. You can delete your account, with every character on it, at any time.
In the game
- Open Chainsworn on the phone or browser you play on.
- Tap the gear at the top of the screen to open Settings.
- At the bottom, tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete account for good.
If you have no character in play (for example, after the preseason ended and yours were archived), the same Delete account button is at the bottom of the screen where you make a character.
The account is deleted at once.
Without the game
If you can no longer open the game, write to support@ampstack.dev with the subject “Delete my Chainsworn account”, and tell us:
- the email address, Google account or Apple account you secured the account with, or its Account ID (shown in Settings);
- the name of a character on it, if you remember one.
We check that the account is yours before we delete it: for a secured account, by writing to its address. An account that was never secured lives on its device alone, so it can only be shown to be yours from that device: use Delete account there, or write from Settings → Contact support on it. We answer within one month, and usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- your account and your sign-in (Google, Apple, or email and password);
- every character on the account, archived ones included, with their gear, progress, ratings and titles;
- what the account holds: cosmetics, titles, and what you bought with it. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play can be restored on a new account with Restore purchases in the app;
- your friends, friend requests and invitations, your notification settings and your phones’ push tokens, your game history, and any frame-time measurements;
- the record our payments provider, RevenueCat, keeps of your account.
What is kept
- Purchase records, with nothing that links them to you or your account: the product, the store, the price and currency, the dates and the store’s transaction numbers. We need them for refunds, our accounts and tax. Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records of payments.
- Error logs that no longer point to you, for at most 30 days.
- Backups: copies in our backups disappear within 7 days.
- A character’s name in another player’s defence notices, if it fought them just before, until they have seen the notice.
